Weekly Newsletter: September 8th

After Care Pickup
When you come to pick your child(ren) from aftercare (anytime between 3:10 and 5:00pm on M/T/W/F or Thursdays between 2:10 and 5:00pm) please be prepared to call the aftercare teacher to let them know you are at the front door. Often at the end of the day, there is not someone in the office to answer the front door. If you ring the buzzer and no one answers within 30 seconds, simply call 513 984-2215 ext 111 and the aftercare teacher will let you in. When calling, as soon as you hear the voice mail greeter, you can enter the extension (111). You do not have to listen to the entire greeting. This policy applies to any day of the week, including early dismissal days on Thursday. You may see staff in the hallway, but due to safety protocols staff are unable to answer the door unless they have meet you. If you have any questions, contact Elizabeth Ewers.

Bowling starts Wednesday!
All students who signed up for after school bowling will be transported by bus to Crossgate Lanes. All students need to be picked up at Crossgate Lanes by 4:30pm. You may send up to $3 with your child to purchase snacks.

Pizza/Spirit Day
Next Friday, September 19th will be the first pizza and spirit day of this school year and will continue to be every third Friday of the month. Pizza will be served to the students during their lunch time. Students do not need to pack a lunch on this day, however, please send a drink in with your child. The spirit theme for this month is major league baseball. Students may wear their favorite major league baseball team apparel.

After School Activities Dismissal
If your child is participating in an after school activity and they are not going to aftercare afterwards (Meaning you intend to pick them up immediately after the activity ends) they will be waiting for you on the Rainbow Bench next to the front door. Please do not go to the room where the activity is taking place to pick your child up. The instructor will escort them to the rainbow bench at the end of the class. If you arrive early to pick up your child from an afterschool activity and no one is answering the door, you can call the aftercare teacher at 513 984-2215 ext 111. If you have any questions, please contact Elizabeth Ewers.
