We would like to thank everyone who helped on parent/teachers work day. Everyone did a great job in making the school look great on the first day of school for our staff and students.

After School Activities
Any 3-8th grade student interested in participating in any of the after school activities needs to turn in a registration form and payment by September 5th. If you have any questions please contact Elizabeth Ewers.

New Teacher
Leah Kubachka is a new teacher primarily teaching on the 4-6 team and teaching one 6-8 team math class.

Homework Letter
A homework letter was emailed to all families yesterday. There is new information in the letter and a section for parents and students to sign off. The form needs to be returned by Friday September 5th. If you would like a hard copy sent home with your child, please contact Elizabeth Ewers at eewers@lindengroveschool.org.

St Saviour Festival: Updates
St. Saviour’s festival will be September 5, 6, and 7. Once again, Linden Grove will be running the dessert booth. Volunteering at the festival booth gives Linden Grove visibility and the chance to inform the community about our school and programs. We will supply Linden Grove literature at the booth. I sent an email last week with the schedule of volunteers for the booth. If you have signed up to bring in baked items, please have them here at the school by 3pm Friday September 5th. Each item should be individually wrapped in a baggie ready for sale. If you have any further questions, please contact Elizabeth Ewers.

Box Top Collection: Update
We are happy to report that Linden Grove has currently earned a total of $815.30 from the Box Top program last year. Keep the Box Tops coming! We appreciate all of your support! Fridays will be designated as box top collection days. If your child brings in 25 box tops, they will get to pick a prize from the rewards box.

Dear Linden Grove Families – Please take a few minutes to enroll or re-enroll in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Even if you have registered in the past, EVERYONE MUST RE-ENROLL each April. If you have never registered, please take a few minutes and do it now. This is an easy way for LGS to receive extra funds. WE CAN DO IT IF EVERYONE PARTICIPATES!

Re-enrolling only takes a few moments and is completed in a few simple steps. To re-enroll:
1. Visit Kroger website at www.krogercommunityrewards.com.
2. Sign in using your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, just click on “forgot password” and a link will be sent to your email to change your password.
3. Enter Linden Grove’s five digit NPO number (80026) or the first three letters of our name (Lin), click search.
4. Select Linden Grove School by clicking on the circle to the left of Linden Grove School.
5. Save changes.

To enroll for the first time, simply log on to the above website and create an account with an email and password, then follow steps 3 to 5 above.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD – grandparents, aunts, cousins, friends, neighbors – anyone can do this – and it really adds up to help LGS!

Monday, October 20 – A Sweet Deal from Jimmy G’s
Celebrate Sweetest Day with a fabulous meal from Jimmy G’s Steakhouse in Downtown Cincinnati. This is a new event for us and invitations will be out in early to mid September.

March 14, 2015 – Linden Grove Signature Event
Please save the date for this year’s Signature Event at the Manor House in Mason on Saturday, March 14, featuring dinner and our fabulous auction as well as other surprises you won’t want to miss.
