COUNTDOWN TO LINDEN GROVE’S AUCTION
Everyone’s participation is needed! We need everyone to participate in this year’s fundraising event in order to continue to provide quality services and programs to our amazing children.
Listed below are each family’s minimum goals:
• Donate a basket to our signature auction event – Value $100 – $150
• Sell 10 vacation raffle tickets
• Invite friends to the LGS’s Signature Auction Event
• Collect Gift certificates (restaurants, salons, & addition items for basket making)
• Event Sponsorship – Think of personal and professional relationships that you have with individuals or businesses who would feel rewarded by supporting your child’s education.
Sponsorship and Solicitation letters were emailed to all families last week. If you need extras, you may get them on the wall file by the parent info board. After the Thanksgiving break, a “Basket Theme” signup sheet will be posted on the parent info board. Please mark next to your family’s name the theme of your basket. All family basket themes need to be listed on the sign-up sheet by December 19th. Don’t forget to talk up our fundraising event during your family gatherings.
Fundraising Here We Come!
6-8th Grade and LG Alumni Halloween Party
A BIG thank you goes out to Dawn Craft, who organized the Halloween party, as well as the other committee members; Jake and Jen Reed, Cristina and Jose Bru, Sarah Soberano, Jon and Gail Batross, Elena Kominar, Gwen Horter, Brent Sears, Trisha Armetta and Brad and Lora Carter for putting on a very successful event! The students thoroughly enjoyed their night out socializing with their friends, doing crafts, dancing to the music, participating in fun-filled games like limbo and the donut eating contest. In attendance were 4 alumni students. The Halloween party is a wonderful opportunity for current and past Linden Grove students to reunite. Many of their parents stated that their child looks forward to this event every year. Pictures from this year’s Halloween party will are posted on Linden Grove’s website.
Daylight Savings Reminder
Daylight savings time is coming up on November 2nd remember to change your clocks backwards one hour.
After School Swimming
The swimming after school activity will begin next Wednesday, November 5th. A school bus will transport all participating students to the Blue Ash YMCA. Parents are to pick their child up no later than 4:30pm at the Blue Ash YMCA lobby. The address is 5000 YMCA Dr. There is not a snack bar or vending machine available at the YMCA. Students may pack a snack which can be eaten in homeroom prior to their departure. Pool toys are permitted as long as other students and patrons are not disturbed by them.
