COUNTDOWN TO LINDEN GROVE’S AUCTION
• Silent Auction baskets due on Friday February 27th. Please be sure to fill out a
donor form listing all the items in your basket as well as the total dollar value of the items contained in the basket.
• Donor forms MUST be completed and handed in for all items donated to the fundraiser. You can obtain a donor form on the white board located by the school’s main entrance.
The Grovery Store
Last Thursday was the soft opening of The Grovery Store at Linden Grove School! During this skill development time, the students from the Applied Skills program will be selling white and chocolate milk during lunch times. The Applied Skills students will have pre-packaged milk to sell for $1.00 every day. If you wish for your student to be able to purchase milk during this time please send in cash with them for that school day. If you feel as if your student might misplace or forget that they are purchasing milk with their lunch, feel free to send an email to The Grovery Store’s email address so that the staff may remind them. The second phase and grand opening of The Grovery Store will happen in the next few weeks. The Grovery Store’s hours of operation will be every Wednesday from 1:20-2:00 PM. In addition we, will be open Tuesday from 2:30PM to 2:50 PM and Thursday 1:30- 1:50 PM for students after school snack and beverage needs. Students will be welcome to purchase snacks, drinks and school supplies during this time. Parents are asked to send in cash money for their students to use. Special dietary needs have been taken into consideration and gluten-free options will be provided for purchase as well. Students will be given a receipt with items purchased and change to bring home to their parents. We are looking forward to this opportunity to help students grow in their independent living skills. After School Bowling
Starts January 28th from 3:15pm-4:30pm at Crossgate Lanes. Students may bring in $2.00 to spend at the concession stand. All students need to be picked up by 4:30pm. If you have any questions please contact Elizabeth Ewers.
LGS Grand Raffle
On Friday January 23rd, 15 raffle tickets for the Vacation Extravaganza or Cash were sent home with each student. Each family is expected to sell at least 15 raffle tickets. Please hand in all money and raffle ticket stubs to Elizabeth Ewers. They can be handed in at any time but no later than March 5th. All unsold tickets must be returned to Linden Grove at that time as well. Each family is responsible for the 15 tickets that have been given to them. Any tickets that are not returned to Linden Grove by March 7th will be assumed SOLD and you will be expected to turn in the money for the face value per ticket ($20) or $150 for 15 tickets. If at any time you need additional raffle tickets, you may get them in the main office. Please remember, if a purchaser is paying by credit card, ALL fields on the back of the raffle stub needs to be completed. Please be sure all information is filled in on the raffle stub prior to turning in to LG. There will be ONE winner for this raffle and they will have their choice of a vacation or $3000 cash. The winner will be drawn on March 14, 2015 at Linden Grove’s Signature Auction. (The winner does not need to be present to win.)
