Basket Theme Deadline is Past Due!

Many families have not informed us of their basket theme for the Auction. Please stop in and indicate your theme on the sheet on the “Parent” bulletin board. You can also email Elizabeth with your theme. Always keep in mind alcohol type baskets do very well. We also could use any vacation get a ways if anyone has a vacation home that they will be willing to auction for a week or so. We also are still in need of sponsors. If you have any sponsors please contact Linda or Theresa.

After School Bowling
After school bowling starts January 28th from 3:15pm-4:30pm at Crossgate Lanes. Students may bring in $2.00 to spend at the concession stand. All students need to be picked up by 4:30pm. If you have any questions please contact Elizabeth Ewers.

The Grovery Store

Dear Parents:

This Thursday makes the soft opening of The Grovery Store at Linden Grove School! During this skill development time, the students from the Applied Skills program with be selling white and chocolate milk during lunch times. The Applied Skills students will have pre-packaged milk to sell for $1.00 every day. If you wish for your student to be able to purchase milk during this time please send in cash with them for that school day. If you feel as if your student might misplace or forget that they are purchasing milk with their lunch, feel free to send an email to The Grovery Store’s email address so that the staff may remind them. The second phase and grand opening of The Grovery Store will happen in the next few weeks. The Grovery Store’s hours of operation will be every Wednesday from 1:20-2:00 PM. In addition we will be open Tuesday from 2:30PM to 2:50 PM and Thursday 1:30- 1:50 PM for students’ after school snack and beverage needs. Students will be welcome to purchase snacks, drinks, and school supplies during this time. Parents are asked to send in cash money for their students to use. Special dietary needs have been taken into consideration and gluten free options will be provided for purchase as well. Students will be given a receipt with items purchased and change to bring home to their parents. We are looking forward to this opportunity to help students grow in their independent living skills.
