Invitations to the Auction were mailed out on Friday. If you would like an invitation sent to someone please let Elizabeth Ewers know. RSVP’s are due by March 4th, 2015. Single tickets may be purchased for $75 or a table for 8 can be purchased for $550. If you purchase a table, it is very important that you list the first and last names of all the guests that will be seated at your table on the backside of the RSVP card. Reserved seating will only apply to guests purchasing a table of eight. Open seating will be available for single ticket purchases.
The event is Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at the Manor House. Doors will open at 6:30pm for cocktails and auction preview. Dinner will be served at 7pm. A video presentation will follow dinner. The drawing for the Vacation Extravaganza Raffle or Cash will be held at the auction. The winner of the raffle does not need to be present to win.
• We need baskets to be donated as well as “fun” containers to create auction baskets. We also need items such as ribbon, candles, tissue paper and shredded paper. You can bring these items into the school’s office.
• All sold and unsold raffle tickets need to be turned in by March 6th.
• Silent Auction baskets are due on Friday February 27th. You may hand them in any time prior to the February 27th date. Please be sure to fill out a donor form, listing all the items in your basket, as well as the total dollar value of the items contained in the basket.
Please note, your child’s slot for the 2015-2016 school year will only be held when the school has received all of the items listed below:
1. Completed Application form
2. Signed Enrollment Contract
3. Signed Parent Commitment Contract
4. Non-refundable registration fee of $250.00
Please keep in mind that current Linden Grove students are being given the opportunity to register prior to the general public; however, registration will open up to the general public on Tuesday, March 3rd. On Monday, March 2nd, any slot that has not been reserved with all of the items noted above by current Linden Grove families, will be made available to others on a first come – first serve basis. I strongly urge you to be timely with your registration fee and paperwork, as we already have a list of admissions packets for families interested in placement for their child and we are unable to add additional slots for the upcoming year, beyond the slots which will be available due to 8th graders graduating.
Families who wish to apply for financial assistance must contact Shawn Scott, Business Coordinator, for PSAS (Private School Aid Service) application by March 2nd. APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AFTER March 2nd, so if you are considering applying for assistance, you should obtain an application on or before March 2nd. Financial assistance requests will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, provided funds are available. 6-8 Winter Dance
All 6th-8th graders are invited to come boogie on down at the winter dance!
Friday, March 6th from 7:00pm-9:00pm at St. Saviour Undercroft. Cost is $5.00 per student. Please RSVP to Elizabeth Ewers by Friday, February 27th.

There is no school on Friday, March 6th due to teacher’s work day.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to send in your input regarding the spring music program vs. videotaping the program. At this time, there will be NO formal spring program. Instead, we will be videotaping an in-class performance and sending it to parents. If you have not already given us permission to use videos, we will be sending you a permission slip for the above-mentioned specific project in the near future. We hope to provide the videos at the end of March/beginning of April.
Your child has the opportunity to participate in a research study conducted by a Masters level student at Loyola University of Chicago. The study examines language development, particularly pragmatic or social language, among children with Autism between 6 to 13 years old. Testing will occur at school during the week of March 2nd. A packet of information for the study is in your child’s take home folder. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Ewers.
Pizza & Spirit Day
This Friday, February 27th will be pizza and spirit day. Pizza will be served to the students during their lunch time. Students do not need to pack a lunch on this day, however, please send a drink in with your child. The spirit theme for this month is Silly Hat. Students may wear their favorite silly hat.
