Support Meetings & Autism Conversation

This conversation will focus on the special strengths of girls with ASD as well possible challenges girls with ASD and their families may face. Resources for girls on the spectrum, as well as social communication skills, will be shared. It will be held on Thursday, January 14 from 6-8pm at the Hyde Park Public Library.

The Family Support Meeting goals are to help support family members of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) dealing with issues such as new diagnosis, school issues, challenging behaviors, transitions, and living with a loved one diagnosed with ASD across the lifespan as well as network with other families who are touched by ASD and to share, identify, explore, and promote awareness of resources, information, workshops, and community activities.
