Art students enjoyed a fun fall activity—painting pumpkins with marbles!
Pumpkin outlines were printed on white card stock and placed in a box. Globs of orange paint were placed on the outer edges of the box and then the fun began!
Students placed marbles in the box and began tipping the box back and forth, allowing the marbles to roll through the paint and then across the pumpkins! Students could decide if they wanted a nice orange and white pattern on their pumpkin, or to keep rolling until it was solid orange. The pumpkins were cut out and placed on colored backgrounds and oil pastels could be used to add details.
