Encouraging Kitchen-Based Entrepreneurs

As part of LGS Summer Camp’s Baking Bananza Week, 4-8 grade students gained confidence in the kitchen while learning entrepreneurship skills – and having fun!

Students worked together to create cookies, individual cheesecakes, and cupcakes – cupcakes decorated with bright (neon!) frosting using pastry bags. The items were then promoted through a Tasting Event. At the event, students created signage to guide family members and friends to tasting tables offering samples of their sweet treats. Guests could also purchase items for take-out in student-decorated bags, or for dining-in at tables with student-made placemats and centerpieces.

Who knows entrepreneurs were encouraged at Summer Camp this week!
