LGS Traditions

LGS traditions help build a sense of community and create memories students, staff and families cherish for a lifetime.

Monthly “Spirit Days” encourage students — and staff — to show their personal style by wearing their favorite crazy hat, PJs, etc.

The LGS Parent Group organizes events for students throughout the year including a Trunk or Treat, Holiday Shop and School Carnival

At the end of the year, all students participate in LGS’s annual Field Day, followed by an Awards Ceremony at which each student receives recognition for his or her strengths.

LGS students and staff “give back” to their community in various ways throughout the year. This most often occurs through monthly donations of items to the St. Vincent de Paul pantry of St. Saviour Parish.

Engagement in the local community is also facilitated through field trips to local museums and attractions, including performances by The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati and career-exploration opportunities at local workplaces.
