Bon Appetit! Every Friday morning the glorious aroma of bacon and maple syrup consumes the halls of Linden Grove as the 6-8 Applied Skills Class runs their full service restaurant, Café 201. Miss Perlson created the restaurant in order to provide an authentic life skills and working experience for her students. Her students created the menu, take orders, cook the menu items, serve them to the staff and collect bills every Friday. They even make tips! The students then can use their tip money for a whole class reward. They are learning how to manage and run a business and also understand the value of money. Miss Perlson’s student take great pride in the skills that they have developed and perfected in Café 201.
